Emily in Paris- Season Three begins on Dec. 21st on Netflix.
Yes, I know it has been panned on both sides of the Atlantic, but it’s a lovely escape.
Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo is drop dead handsome and the old guys aren’t so bad either. Cuff links, a nice suit and scarves tied that special way – ooh, la la. As for style, in Paris, I rarely ever see anyone dressed like Emily, but Sylvie, played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu wears the most beautiful outfits that are very Parisian. There is also great food, iconic restaurants, cafes, cultural differences and of course the scenery of Paris. It’s all fabulous in my opinion.

Call the Midwife is streaming all their holiday specials on PBS.org – Passport.
A beautiful series, sure to bring tears to your eyes, harkens us back to the London of the 1960’s.
Goodness, kindness as well as pain resulting from the many of the social and personal issues presented in the series, many of which we all feel today. This series so relatable, especially for women.
Passport is a great way for you to watch many of your favorite BBC productions from anywhere and anytime. I have Nord VPN for me to access all of the PBS programs when I’m in Paris.
Grab a cup of tea, a little something sweet and cozy up with a blanket while watching the Midwife Holiday specials! Oh, and don’t forget a box of tissues.

You purchase a ticket and watch the event as though you were attending the performance live. A few weeks ago, I watched or “attended” the Callaway Sisters’ Concert and loved it. Sure to be fantastic is Sismas’concert on Dec. 23, a holiday show on Dec. 28 and Patti Lupone on January 1st! We all remember Studio 54, right? A must-read book.
Last, I must introduce a book I just finished reading titled The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams. I’m sharing it because it captivated me as I read this book, along with the characters in the book who were reading books from the list.
Together we all found answers and guidance from our books, with the challenges and issues of life. I was up until 1:00 in the morning last night, because I couldn’t fall asleep without finishing it. It truly does try to answer the questions, why read books? As the author said, “some books change your life forever.” You’ll love it. Find it on Amazon HERE.
