What Living in Paris Taught Me About Slow Living

Slow living is intentional, real and simple living which includes all aspects of our lives. This episode shares lessons I’ve learned about slow living since moving to Paris and includes tips on how to embrace slow living in our homes including:

#1 Being creative with smaller spaces and less things. I will share good suggestions on how to rethink your spaces when you want to embrace the slow living movement as well as the value of consignment shops and brocantes (second hand markets).

#2 Having a social community in close proximity to where you physically live. We need people, a tribe, and when you no longer have a work tribe, it becomes even more important that you have the first tier social tribe around you.

#3 Entertaining. Fling open the doors to your home and welcome your outside life in! Entertaining pulls back the curtain of realness, authenticity that is at the core of slow living and deepens many of your surface friendships.
